The sheer size and weight of the system were not conducive to mobility around the house, and in the community, and therefore was not viewed as a necessity for the student. His dynavox would be left stationary in one room of his house. One particular student was using a dynavox system before I introduced him to Proloquo2Go on the iPad. Navigation of the program came naturally to all my students, and the ability to personalize the program makes it exceptional. Proloquo2Go, by AssistiveWare, is an app that has the reputation of being an absolute angel! It provides an easy solution, in a very cool package, to assist anyone who may have difficulty speaking. TWA recently with one of the special education teachers that field-tested this app and was told that Proloquo2Go was by far the most valued app he has ever used with his special needs population! Kudos to AssistiveWare!!!
